Mountain of the Month with 1141 Adventure At 1141 Adventure, we believe the hills are more than just landscapes – they’re places to challenge yourself, meet new people, and experience the wild beauty of the Scottish Highlands. Our Mountain of the Month series is all about bringing like-minded adventurers together to explore iconic peaks, share stories on the trail, and create memories in some of the most spectacular settings the UK has to offer. Each month we’ll choose a different mountain to climb, giving you the chance to discover new routes and gain confidence in the outdoors. We’ll walk as a group, guided by our experienced leaders who will ensure your safety while encouraging a spirit of adventure and camaraderie. Our first featured mountain is Ben Macdui, the second-highest peak in the UK and the towering giant of the Cairngorms. This remote summit rewards effort with sweeping views across the Highlands – but it also demands respect. Conditions can change rapidly, and participants must be prepared for all weathers. For safety, final decisions on the day’s route and progress will remain at the discretion of our guides.
