Explorer, Instructor, Head Sherpa
Rhys began his mountain journey over 20 years ago, forged in the wild Highlands with the Royal Air Force Mountain Rescue Service. Since then, he's never looked back. A qualified Summer Mountain Leader and devoted Munro-bagger, Rhys combines deep-rooted mountain experience with a relentless drive for adventure.
As Lead Instructor for Reactive Medical, he brings frontline knowledge and highland grit to every course. When he’s not teaching, you’ll find him tackling ultra-marathons, competing in triathlons, chasing waves (with mixed results), or losing himself in the remote magic of Scotland’s bothies with his number one dog - Hamish.
